    Create a new folder in your Favorites

    1. Locate the pane on the left side of your screen where you see “My Favorites”,

    “Inbox” and “Public Folders.”

    . !lic" on the “My Favorites” folder.

     #. !lic" on the “$ew” dropdown and select “Folder.”

    %. &he screen will refresh and you will be pro'pted to enter a “Folder $a'e.”

    (. )ou will now see the new folder you created located inside “Favorites”

    *. $ow that you have created the folder, you will be able to !opy reports into it.

    . -nce you have clic"ed on the folder that contains the report you want to copy you

    will see a list of reports in the 'ain window pane

    #. elect the reports that you want to copy by holdin+ down !&/L and clic"in+ onthe reports you want.

    %. In the upper left corner of the “-b0ects indow” you will see an “-r+ani2e”dropdown, select “!opy”

    (. In the “Folder Pane”, clic" on your “My Favorites” folder and +o bac" to the

    “-r+ani2e” dropdown and select “Paste.”*. $ow you can browse into “My Favorites” and clic" on the folder you saved thereport3s4 in and you should see the reports.

    Scheduling a report from your favorites

    1. 5rowse into “My Favorites” and you should see a list of reports that you havecopied.

    . /i+ht !lic" on the report and clic" on “chedule” or sin+le clic" on the report andclic" on the “6ctions” 'enu in the tool bar and select “chedule.”

    %. &he “Instance &itle” is how you want the na'e of the report to be displayed in the“7istory” list. 5y default, it contains the na'e of the report.

    (. !lic" on the on the word “Para'eters” in the left pane and you should see the

     para'eters

    *. )ou will need to clic" on the lin" “8'pty” for each para'eter and supply values.

    If any values are left as “8'pty” the report will fail.

    an ad;hoc run of the report for a specific date. b. :yna'ic :ate )esterday &his will allow you to schedule the report so

    it will run at +iven intervals, always usin+ the date before the date the

    a. electin+ “$ow” @ when you clic" on chedule the report will start offinstantly.

     b. electin+ “:aily” @ will allow you select a start ti'e for the report and

    how 'any days occur between runs and when the schedule should end.7owever it should be noted that 5-5A auto'atically stops all schedules at

    the end of the year

    &his calendar when used with the 8ndate para'eter of “)esterday”, itallows the report to run for a co'plete period.

    c. File yste' &his allows the report to be exported to a file location upon

    co'pletion.

    &he directory needs to be a B$! path to the share. &he user na'e and password field should be that of a user that has access to the file share. If

    the report is set to a recurrin+ schedule, we su++est that the users

    !-/PPG&H85I and !-/PPG&H85II are +ranted write access to thefile share. If this is done, then the user na'e and password field can be

    left blan". If the share is not available when the report runs, the report

    will fail.

    1(. chedulin+ erver roup &his is only used when you are exportin+ the report

    output to a file share. )ou will need to select the option “-nly use servers

     belon+in+ to the selected +roup” and choose “8xternal :ata Providers” fro' thedropdown. )ou should never need to chan+e this for reports that are not bein+

    exported.

    Viewing a scheduled report

    1. tart by browsin+ into “My Favorites” and selectin+ a subfolder or the

    “Favorites” folder”. It should loo" so'ethin+ li"e this

    . -nce you have browsed into the folder where a report was scheduled your screenshould loo" so'ethin+ li"e this

    #. )ou will notice that instances folder has nu'ber it. &his nu'ber represents the

    nu'ber of ob0ects for that specific report. If you have a schedule for your report,you will see a nu'ber +reater than =. If you have histories available for that

    report, the nu'ber will be +reater than =. 8ach historic run of the report will

    show up as part of the nu'ber of instances.

    %. &o view the instances of the top report, clic" on the lin" “7istory” under the

    report na'e and it should open a window li"e this

    (. )ou can now see the scheduled instances for the reports. &his report was run on#* and itCs status of “uccess”.

    *. &here are other statusC that a report can be in.a. uccess &he report ran successfully.

     b. Pendin+ &he report is in Jueue to run.

    c. Failed &he report tried to run but failed. Bsually, this is caused by a'issed para'eter.

    9. &o see the report that you ran, clic" on the date lin" for the instance you want to

    view. )our report will then open for viewin+.
