This ebook is designed to be used after listening to the 8-minute audio meditation. It can be printed out, orused in conjunction with your own digital or handwritten journal. You canuse these exercises multiple times throughout your pregnancy for best effect.

Releasing fears is often a multi-layered process, rather like unraveling atightly knotted string or chain. It takes deliberate & repeated efforts todismantle our inner fear constructs & move forward in courage + love.

The audio file is best listened toon headphones, in a quiet, calm environment. Wear comfy clothing, relax,and close your eyes. Breathe deeply, relax your body and face... Allow a feeling of security and peace to wash over you so that you are able to –

explore your fears more fully.

In the first part of the audio, I ask you to face your fears, to name them...to hold them each up to the light & look them bravely in the eye. At first, this might seem counter-intuitive to releasing fears...It might feel difficult, uncomfortable, or even upsetting to do this, especiallyin the beginning.

Our human tendency is to turn away from anything that makes us feeluneasy. This generally serves us well as a species, keeping us cautious in situations that might cause us harm.

However, we no longer live in the jungles, hunted by wild beasts, victim topoisonous plants and so on. In this day & age, the things we're afraid of don't typically pose any imminent threat to our lives yet our primal –

brain still keeps us paralyzed to takeaction against them.

~ The only way out is through ~

Even though it may feel safer toavoid or hide from your fears, the truth is, they won't go away, doing that. They'll still be there waiting for you, possibly even bigger than before...whenever you are forced to leaveyour comfort zone.

The irony about fear is that by facing them, we take away their powerover us. Courage is not some inherenttrait, graced on the few & the lucky. It's created when we feel our fears –but go forward anyway. Courage is not the absence of fear it's what –

you have left over when you feel fear,but refuse to allow it to control or paralyze you.

This is why it's important to getclear about what we fear and why. To go within and look plainly at whatscares us, so that we can better recognize, and thus, overcome it.

By turning toward our fears instead of running from them, we find that we're empowering ourSelves to make decisions based in truth instead of fear.

Carrying around a burden of fears is exhausting and heavy on the –

heart.

The secret truth about fears is that you can't really release them without facing them first. Then, theylose their hold on your heart and mind,and you're able to move forward again without such a burden weighing you down and dictating your every move.

Use this page to write down some of your fears get them out of your head! You can even –

burn it in an actual bonfire, if you're inspired to!

The visual of a bonfire is used inthe audio, to burn away our fears, written metaphorically on paper.

Fire is not only cleansing but transformative, in both chemical & energetic terms. Completing a physicalburning of written words can feel very freeing, so visualizing this process can give a similar effect.

So, you've named your fears, faced them, & cast them into the purifying fire - breaking their hold upon your mind & heart...

Take a few slow, deep breaths, & imagine that the physical space inside of you which was once filled with fears is now being filled with a golden or white light, healing the scars & giving you a renewed sense of strength& courage.

Affirmations of courage (add your own!)

• I can handle anything.“ ”

• I am strong.“ ”

• I have vast resources inside of me, “

enough to get through whatever life or–

childbirth brings.– ”

• I know that I am strong, safe, & free “

of fear.”• Those fearful thoughts no longer have “

power over me.”• I am radiating with love, trust, courage “

& strength!”• I will do whatever is necessary to “

protect my baby & mySelf.”• I trust that I will have the grace to“

make sound decisions, even in the face ofadversity.”

Fear is just one of the things that can interfere with you having a peaceful + safe pregnancy & birth. The root cause of fear often lies in our subconscious beliefs, & various typesof inner work may be necessary to weed out fears AND the subconscious beliefs behind them.
