Summit Aviation has been a full-service aviation center since

1960, providing domestic and international services to our

customers. Our staff has earned a reputation for versatility,

forward thinking, detailed planning and excellent customer

service. We specialize in solving complex issues for customers

with demanding schedules and quick turnaround requirements.

Our broad base of customers includes United States

Government agencies, international militaries, state and local

law enforcement agencies, and general and corporate aviation

clients. Providing exceptional service, done right and on time is

a priority for us.

Due to our highly trained and technical workforce, our services

are more extensive than those provided by other Fixed

Base Operators (FBO), such as airframe modifications for

larger turboprop and jet aircraft and other heavy repair and

maintenance services.

OUR FACILITYSummit Aviation’s 550-acre site is conveniently located in

Middletown, Delaware with New York and Washington being

only a two-hour drive or 30 minute flight away. Our facilities

are comprised of 78,000 square feet of hangar space, a 9,000

square foot paint facility, and 114,000 square feet of office,

storage, and training facilities.

Summit Aviation was acquired by Greenwich AeroGroup Inc.,

in 2008. With its headquarters in Wichita, KS., the Parent

company owns and operates providers of general, commercial,

government and military aviation services including: aircraft

sales, charter and management, avionics solutions, component

repair and overhaul, engineering, financial services, government

and military, manufacturing, MRO and FBO and parts

distribution. Other locations owned by Greenwich AeroGroup

include: Aero Precision, located in Livermore, CA.; DAC

International, Inc., located in Austin, Texas; Helivia AeroTaxi,

located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; NASAM, Inc., located in South

OUR PEOPLEOur employees are Summit’s most valuable asset. The

highly trained and experienced technicians perform airframe,

powerplant, propeller, hydraulic, rotor system, drive train, flight

control, electrical, avionic and mission systems inspections

repairs and modifications. We have access to structural,

system design and engineering services to approve structural

modification/repairs and avionics installations.

Summit is a cleared, DOD approved contractor facility.

MANUFACTURINGSummit Aviation’s Manufacturing facility in Somerset, Ky. is

growing by leaps and bounds. Today, it provides aero structure

product assembly for a variety of military and commercial

helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. Additionally, it has paint

capabilities that support prime and finish components.

Core competencies include:

FIXED BASE OPERATOR SUPPORTIn addition to our maintenance and support services, we also

offer full FBO support. With flexible hours and personalized

service, the flight operations team strives to exceed all

customer expectations. We provide:

KEVY airport (EVY) is owned and operated by Summit Aviation.

North/South runway 17/35 is 4,500 feet by 66 feet and can

accommodate medium size jets and turboprop aircraft.

Summit Aviation is a Shell branded FBO, honoring the Shell

Aero Class incentive program. KEVY airport (EVY) is owned and

operated by Summit Aviation.
