Recruitment Hanjin Ship Management manages a crew resource pool of a large number of multinational

seafarers from four countries (Korea, Philippines, Myanmar and Indonesia).

CharteringOur comprehensive business network has been established in the global liner, dry bulk and oil / chemical market where we

are working with owners, operators, industrial companies, commodity traders worldwide, oil majors and major oil traders.

Our Markets

Container Vessels We provide comprehensive liner broking service to charterers, ship owners and shipyards. Based

on a high level of market penetration and a large volume of transactions, our clients are provided

with dedicated broking services in relation to chartering, Newbuilding and S&P of container

tonnage in all size segments.

Bulk Carriers We work with our customers in all aspects related to chartering and asset business comprising

newbuilding and second-hand vessels. In respect of chartering, our main focus is on period

business whilst also working spot requirements for our customers on a limited scale. We are

dedicated to all tonnage segments from handy-size up to capsize bulkers and coordinate broking

service with our many dry cargo offices worldwide to ensure global market coverage.

Tankers Although concentrating primarily on crude oil and product tonnage, we are aggressively involved

in all tanker segments including crude oil carriers and chemical tankers. With specific focus on

innovative business development in relation to period chartering as well as Newbuilding and

second-hand tonnage transactions, a large global customer portfolio is being provided with

premier brokerage service.

Specialized Vessels Our specialized tonnage activities are developing rapidly, offering a full range of services related

ZESCO is one of the biggest and modern ship repair yard established in the center of China’s ship repair industry cluster.

We, as an official agent of ZESCO repair shipyard, provide our customers with tailor-made drydocking repair brokering

service including arranging repair schedule, obtaining reasonable estimation and performing on-site supervising. Various

services including repair works (steel work, painting, electrical repairs and so on), conversion to tankers, bulkers, even

Hansol LED, the only accredited lightings for ship use by the Classifications, meets all criteria of Korean Register

and Korean Industrial Standards in terms of temperature, vibration, humidity, change of voltage and electromagnetic

Ballast Water Management System

To help meet ballast water treatment management standards as outlined in the 2004 IMO Convention for the

Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments, Hanjin Ship Management and Samsung Heavy

Industries have developed a ballast water treatment system that provides a reliable, environmentally sound

solution that is designed to protect against the proliferation of aquatic invasive species.

Final Approval Accredited by IMO in 2011 and 2012, PURIMAR™ and Neo-PURIMA™ ballast water

management systems use a combination of physical separation and a proprietary, on-demand treatment with

biocides, produced in-situ from seawater, without the addition of chemicals. The system is based on a proven

30+ year record and over 2,500 shipboard installations of Samsung’s technologies.

examination, post examination and re-certification examination once

every three years, all ships and departments establish and execute action

plans in regards to executing, monitoring, reporting and revising for the
