This liquid cooled single overheadcamshaft fuel injection engine churnsout 18.6PS@10000rpm and14.1Nm@8500rpm. Features anadvanced die cast aluminum (DiASil)cylinder with outstanding coolingperformance.

Variable Valves Actuation(VVA)This is the �rst ever high-performanceVVA system that provides torque forease of use even at low RPM. There aretwo intake valve cams: one for low- tomid-range rpm and another for highrpm. They switch between each other atthe 7,400 rpm mark to ensure goodpower and torque is present throughoutthe entire rev range.

6 Speed TransmissionNow shift gears without worrying abouteconomy. The YZF R15 V 3.0 6-speedtransmission allows to cruise at lowRPM even in higher gears, thus savingfuel without missing on the thrill.

Assist & Slipper ClutchAn A&S (assist and slipper) clutch isadopted to reduce the weight of theclutch pull and provide low-stressshifting during deceleration. The A&Shelps to reduce fatigue for the rider.This also prevents excessive enginebraking, thus reducing its e�ects onchassis behavior. The A&S clutch makesfor smooth, enjoyable downshifts.
