The Lord’s Prayer Our Belief in God Apostle’s Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and
earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived
by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third
day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at
the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there He will come to
judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Christian Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the
body, and the life everlasting. Amen!
OLD TESTAMENT Isaiah 50:4-9a
The Sovereign LORD has given me an instructed tongue, to know the
word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being taught. The Sovereign LORD has
opened my ears, and I have not been rebellious; I have not drawn back. I
offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled
out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting. Because
the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I

HOLY GOSPEL Matthew 21:1-11
As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of
Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go to the village ahead
of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by
her. Untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you,
tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”
This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet: “Say to
the Daughter of Zion, ‘See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on
a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’” The disciples went and did as
Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt, placed
their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them. A very large crowd spread
their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and
spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those
that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he
who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!” When
Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is
this?” The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth
in Galilee.”

C: we confess to You all our sin that divides us from You and from

not want is what we keep on doing. Good Lord, deliver us from
evil, grant us Your forgiveness, and give us a new heart and
spirit that we may serve You without fear.

Prayer of Praise P: Almighty and everlasting God the Father, who sent Your Son to take
our nature upon Him and to suffer death on the cross that all mankind
should follow the example of His great humility, mercifully grant that we
