No set form of records is laid down since it isintended to make as muchuse as possible of a beneficiary’s own records, but recommendations for approvalof claims will not be made unby the properofficer.

49. Use of authorised materials.—{a) Only the following materials qualifyfor relief :-—(i) Materials imported bya beneficiary and used in the mannerauthorised ;
(iz) Unusable waste destroyed in the presence of the properofficer;
(6) There is no objection to the usetur other purposes of imported materials upon whichrelief has beenauthorised provided :—
(i) prior notice of such alternative use is given to the proper.officer;
(it) use and disposal is clearly shown in a beneficiary’s records;
(iit) claim for relief is not made in respect of the materials so used.
50. Officer’s right of entry to Beneficiary’s Premises.—(a) The properofficer mayat all reasonable timeenter a beneficiary’s premises and make such enquiries and examine such goods, processes, books andrecords as he deemsnecessary for the purpose ef verifying claimsforrelief. He mayalso take such samplesof materials or goods as he considers necessary for the proper verification of any claim.
(b) A beneficiary or any person materially interested in the goodsis to answerall questions put to himby the proper officer and produce all goods, books, records and other documents on demand. Theresponsibility for satisfying the officer that the terms of the Prestdent’s authority have been carried outin full and that the relief can therefore be recommended, rests with the beneficiary.
--51. Method of claiming rélief.—
(a) Form of claim and by whomtu be maiée.-Claimstorrelief are to be submitted in triplicate on specialforms which can be obtained from any Custom House or from the Secretary to the Board, and are tobe completed by the person, persons or body named in the President’s authority.
(6) When and where claims to be submitted.---Claims for relief are not to be madeat intervals of lessthan three months.is situated.

52. Penalties.—The attention of beneticiaries is invited to regulation 15 ef the Industrial Development(Import Duties Relief) Regulations, 1957—Legal Notice 155 of 1957—which prescribes £500 as penaltyin addition to any ac.on which maybe taken for false declaration or statement in connectioapplication, return or claim forrelief.
