burn October 28 through November 4 for Henry
Wesseler.
FAITH FORMATION – This weekend, you will

FEAST OF ALL SAINTS –
This week is the Feast of All
Saints. Mass for this Feast will be
celebrated at St. Maurice the
night before, October 31, 7:00
PM, so that the children in our
Religious Education classes are
able to attend. Mass at Immaculate Conception,
Millhousen, will be on Thursday, 6:00 PM.
CEMETERY SERVICES – A brief cemetery
service will be held on Sunday, November 4, at St.
John, 1:15 PM, and at St. Maurice at 1:45 PM.
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS – Don't
forget before you go to bed next Saturday,
November 3, set your clocks back one hour!
MASS AND ANOINTING – On Wednesday,
November 7, 11:00 AM, the celebration of Mass
with the Sacrament of Anointing will be celebrated
at Immaculate Conception Parish for all three
parishes. Both priests will be present for this Mass
and Anointing. It will be followed by a luncheon.
Do consider attending and preparing yourself for
the winter months with the Sacrament of Anointing.
UNITED CATHOLIC APPEAL – "ALL for the
SAKE of OTHERS" is the theme for this year's
United Catholic Appeal. We are many hands doing
together what none of us can do alone and it is for
the sake of others. 16% of the UCA funds will be
used for charity and outreach; 30% for faith
formation and Catholic Education; and 54% for
seminarian education and clergy care for our 48
retired priests who have devoted their lives to
serving others.
The goal for St. Maurice for this year is
$12,705.00. Intention weekend is November 10-11.
You will send your gift directly to the Archdiocese.

FALL SMORGASBORD – If anyone wants to
donate sweet potatoes, frozen home-grown corn, or
ground beef from the Locker, please let Judy or
Susan know. Ladies, you will be hearing from your
committee chairperson soon. November 10 is just
around the corner!
FALL RAFFLE – As of today, $3,860.00 has been
raised from the Fall Raffle. We are grateful!
BLOOD PRESSURE – Next weekend, you can get
your blood pressure checked following the Masses.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION – Classes for
Preschool through Grade 5 on Wednesday, October
31, 6:45 PM. No meal will be served. The children
will be attending All Saints Day Mass.
Classes for Grades 6 through 11 next Sunday,
November 4, 8:30 AM. On this weekend, the 7th
Grade class will participate in the Sunday Mass.
