14" Finished Square1. For machine piecing, trace all pattern pieces on the wrong side of fabrics and cutout. Seam allowances are included on piecing patterns. For hand piecing, maketemplates using dashed on lines on pattern pieces. Trace templates on wrong sideof fabrics, add 1⁄4" seam allowances all around and cut out. 2. Piece as shown in diagrams below:
3. Embroidery: Embroider all embroidery lines, as shown on block picture, with astem stitch using three strands of embroidery floss.
Make four units like this. Make four units like this.
Join the two units and add background triangles (D) to makethe four quarters of the block..
Sew the four quarters together.
