Application Steps 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Multi-position upper body warming blanket - Model 62200

1. Place Once surgical positioning is complete, place the blanket on the patient. Thesmall holes should be in contact with the patient’s skin.

2. Bend Bend and conform the blanket on or around the patient to cover the greatest amount of skin surface area.

3. RemoveRemove adhesive strip backing.

4. AdhereAdhere to patient in the desired location (adhesive strip toward surgical site).

5. SecureUse tie strips to secure blanketif needed.

6. UnfoldUnfold the head drape and place over the intubated patient's head and neck.*

7. ConnectConnect hose to blanket using desired port (not over groin area).

8. ClampUse cord tether and clamp to secure hose.

9. In�ateTurn on the warming unit to in�ate the blanket and begin therapy.

*Since the adhesive strip should always face the surgical site, the head drape is unable to be used in certain con�gurations.
