Overview slide INSPIRE@IMSH 2014
• Increase IMPLEMENTATION and reduction of confounders:
• shift for study purposes from PALS courses with
interprofessional and interdisciplinary education with
professionals with different years of experience
• to (raise) numbers of trainees in unified institutional
environment with homogenous groups to train. Groups with
(little or no ) previous training in the field.

Timeline
spring / summer 2014
• 2 more partners during last 3 months
• first meetings with regional school of nursery to
integrate the course with the project in nurse
education
• center based start to train with same simulation tools
parents, teachers and caregivers with adapted
course derived from PALS

Progress since Jan 2014
1. Needs: integration in institutional mass
education
2. Challenges: low standardization inside some
international systems of Pediatric Life Support
courses & diplomatic disorders inside health
systems and international teaching networks
