HOW TO INSTALL

Ground Preparation for Gardens

Remove all turf, vegetation and rocks down to bare earth.Remove enough soil to be able to add a 25-40mmlayer of sharp sand.

Use a weed killerto kill the weedsdown to the roots.

Hire a turf cutter tomake turf removalfar easier.

Installing sub base and weed membraneA 25-40mm sub base of sand is installed

Nail or Peg the weed membraneto the sand sub base.

Spread, level and compact thesub base with a hand rolleror vibrating plate.

During dry conditionswet the sub base

a day before installation

In certain circumstances you mayneed to use a treated wooden border.

Installing the grassRoll out the grass. As all rolls have a directional pile, ensurethat all rolls are laid out in the same direction*.

Cut carefully into thebacking and trim theartificial grass.

Once the grass is layed brush in 4kg of kiln dry sand per 1m .

Fix with adhesive or stainlessscrews to treated wooden

timber edging or withstainless nails into the sub base.

Seaming tape is used to join rolls together.

Unroll the seaming tape along the seam line,ensuring equal tape laid centrally along theseam.

Before applying the adhesive, fix theseaming tape to the sub base withstainless steel nails.
