CENTRE CALIBRATION
In order to enter the shifter calibration mode, simultaneously press theTuningbuttonandthebuttonhighlightedbelow.
Ifacentrecalibration isneeded(e.g.afterafirmwareupdateof thewheelbase), youneed topress theTuningbuttonashighlightedon thepicturebelow to enter TuningMenu.When the TuningMenu is active, press theanaloguestickandtheFunkySwitchTMsimultaneouslytocalibratethewheelcentre.

CLUTCH BITE POINT MODESMODES
In order to enter the TuningMenu, press the Tuning button. To navigateinsidethemenu,usetheFunkySwitch™highlightedinredbelow.Pressitupordowntoaccessfivesetupprofiles.PresstheFunkySwitchTMrightorlefttogothroughtheoptions.RotateorpresstheFunkySwitchTMupordowntochangeoptionvalues.
IncaseyouareusingthePodiumAdvancedPaddleModule(PAPM;optional)you have four extra digital buttons plus two analogue axes added to thefunctionalityofthesteeringwheel.FortheanalogueaxesyoucanselectinwhichmodetheseoperatebyturningthepaddlemodeswitchbetweenpositionA-D,refertoNo.26 inchapter“buttonmapping”:
A Clutch bite point Bothleftandrightanaloguepaddlesworkinparallelasclutchcontrol paddles,theonepressedfurtherbecomestheprimarypaddle.
B Clutch + Handbrake Leftpaddleisclutch,rightpaddleishandbrake.
C Brake + Throttle Leftpaddleisbrake,rightpaddleisthrottle.
D Mappable analogue axes Paddlescanbemappedastwoadditionalaxesbutbeawaretheseare sharedwiththejoystick.
Therearetwowaystooperatetheclutchbitepointfeature,ineithercasethepaddlemodeswitchmustalwaysbesettopositionA.
1. Simplified mode: ●Pressbothclutchpaddlessimultaneouslyto5%ormoretoactivate, movebothpaddlesupto100%. ●Releaseonepaddlewhilekeepingtheotherfullypressed.The displaynowshowsthepercentagevalueofthereleasedpaddle whilethecar’sclutchisstillfullypressed. ●Setthereleasedpaddletothepercentagewhereyourcar’sclutch startstobite(recommendedtoevaluatethatbytestdrivesbefore). ●Assoonasthevirtualstartlightsturngreen,completelyreleasethe fullypressedpaddleandtheclutchisimmediatelyatthebitepoint, heldbytheotherpaddle. ●Thenreleasetheotherpaddlewiththecorrectspeedtoachievethe optimumlaunchacceleration.
2. Advanced mode: ●Pullbothanaloguepaddlessimultaneouslytomaximumandhold themthere,displayshows100%. ●PresstheFunkySwitch™downtolowerthepercentagetothebite pointwhichyouwanttoadjust,fittingyourcarbest(recommended toevaluatethatbytestdrivesbefore). ●Releasethepaddlestosetandstorethevalue.Note:Youcanhave individualstoredvaluesforeachTuningMenuslotS_1...S_5. ●Atracestart,pullbothpaddlesagaintoactivatethebitepointmode, releaseoneofthesepaddlesandtheclutchwillimmediatelybeat thebitepoint. ●Assoonasthevirtualstartlightsturngreen,releasetheother paddlewiththecorrectspeedtoachievetheoptimumlaunch acceleration.
