years old he was visited by the Angel Gabriel and given verses to recite (Ramadan).

• Over the years Muhammad reported receiving many more revelations from Gabriel (the revelations are found in the Qur’an).

• It is believed that at one time Muhammad was taken up into the heavens and taught the gospel for 1 week.
