Welcome to the 2019 Seniors Festival for Campbelltown Local Government Area. The festival focuses on people who are over 60, are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders over the age of 50 and people over 50 that have a lifelong disability.
This year the theme for the festival across New South Wales is “Love Your Life”. So come join in the fun, make some new friends or meet up with friends locally.

Discover a love of creativity whilst working together on a collaborative drawing to be led by exhibiting artist Jenny Orchard. Orchard is best known for her folkloric hybrids that combine together plants, animals and figures. Following the workshop, the drawing will be publically exhibited in the gallery foyer and a printed version of the artwork will be mailed to all participants as a memory of the day.

Conversational Tour: Look at powerful artworks from Campbelltown Arts Centre’s Borrowed Landscapes exhibition and discuss the stories behind them in this conversational tour to be hosted by the exhibition curator Jasmine Kean and Miranda Samuels from the art collective The Countess Report. Female elders from the community are invited to discuss their views on female representation over the decades and to tell their stories in groups of three to five people. Do you need help to travel to Forest Lawn Cemetery at Leppington?Free trip for Seniors Festival : Tuesday 26 FebruaryCouncil supports South West Community Transport (SWCT) to provide a monthly Cemetery Bus service for seniors in the Campbelltown Local Government Area who do not have transport to get to Forest Lawn Cemetery.The service operates on the last Tuesday of the month and takes local seniors by bus from their doorstep to Forest Lawn Cemetery and back home.
