Message from Rosie’s ParentsSince 2001 when Rosie was fatallystabbed in a motiveless and randomattack in Centenary Square(Birmingham), £175,000 has beenraised by donations received fromthe public.

During 2006 we were able to helpsixteen local causes who shared justover £8,000. We were also able togive £5,000 to the University of Birmingham, CancerStudies to purchase a piece of equipment which willenable patients to receive their biopsy results quickerand so begin appropriate treatment earlier.

Here are the local projects who received a helpinghand during 2006.

Brownhills Community Colts under 9’sFootball team

Storytelling service to 3 local toddler groups

Rosie’s spirit lives on in all of these projects.Our aim is to continue to help local groups working with children & young people.

Captain Jack Sparrow (lookalike)

will open the event at 12 Noon......at Aldridge Airfield (A454 Walsall Road) nr Walsall.Registration opens at 11.30am. Last entries for eitherwalk at 1.00pm. Festival until 5pm.

Tower of Terror ChallengeWalsall Council Outdoor Pursuits Team will open up thenew Outdoor Adventure Centre (located on site) forvisitors to experience the High Ariel Trekking Course, oneof the tallest in the country! Suitable for all ages from10years old. Each session lasts 45 minutes. Charges will apply.

General Tips & Advice • Pirate or Disney fancy dress is optional but many do dress up. • Free on site parking (please use Walsall Road Entrance onto Airfield next to Rotometrics). • Refreshments on sale on site. • You are welcome to bring picnics, folding chairs and sun/rain shelters. • Dogs on leads welcome but owners must be responsible for their animals at all times.

• 3 miles (including pub and towpath)

• Toddle Mile walk through woods (Suitable for pushchairs)

(Please note: 3 mile walk involvescrossing of a public road and is overuneven ground. Under 16’s must beaccompanied by a responsible adult).
