ness? Perfect happiness is when you cansmile and be happy together with yourloved ones; no arguments, fights or misun-derstandings.
7. Are you religious? Yes. And being aBuddhist I do a lot of charity work; helpthe poor, small children, and I also medi-tate
8. Are you superstitious? No way.9. Your ideal guy? Well, someone who
is honest, trustworthy, loving, caring, alsotall and fair. My guy should be able tounderstand me, give me priority…and keepme smiling.
10. Which living person do you mostadmire? My mother and my father – forthe simple reason that they are there forme always. And they are very supportive ofmy career.

13. Your most embarrassingmoment? It happened at an inter-schoolcompetition when I forgot my whole speechin the impromptu speech category, onstage, and I had to lie. saying I was sick.
14. Done anything daring? Yep, I soldfree-given time tables at school with mybest friend, when we were in Grade 3.
15. Your ideal vacation? Cape Town, inSouth Africa, with my family and bestfriends. I’ve been there before and I simplylove the place.
16. What kind of music are you into?Pop and classics.

as in your next life? I don’t believe inrebirth.
20. Any major plans for the future? Iam planning on establishing my ownbrand, where fashion is concerned, and myown production house. And I have plans toestablish a standard model agency in SriLanka and I’m working on it.

Since its inception, seven yearsago, Dayangani Ramanayake hasbeen offering some of the finest andextravagant sarees to the women ofMelbourne.
Her fashion show, OrientalExtravaganza, was a charitableevent, with all proceeds going to‘Big Smile,’ a charity dedicated tothe welfare of rural schools in SriLanka.
The charity, which Dayangani and
her brother, Kumar Devapura ofTristar Apparells, launched in 2011,has already helped over six ruralschools.
Dayangani’s two daughters, Tessand Kavi, helped behind the scene,with the planning, etc .
Former Singapore Airline Capt.Upali Ramanayake said that a lot ofhard work was done at home withthe girls, Tess and Kavi, and theirclose friends, to support this projectin which turned out to be a very avery successful event in Melbourne..
