Our innovative products are mechatronics / multiphysics:

Coupling between physics is strong:

Needs analysis / Current situation

Several GUI* for different physics > 6 pre/post: Mechanical, CFD, Electro-magnetic… Simulation engineers skilled with different environments < 10% simulation population

Many interface development requests for CAD, between

solvers (>20) for multiphysics, PLM Too many interfaces to develop and to maintain

The lack of transverse technical support: makes impossible to acquire and offer an expertise on > 6 pre/post

has a significant impact on the efficiency by:

slowing down the development and the use of metier / domain tools,

precluding the share and re-use of methodologies between BGs,

reducing the promotion of advanced simulations: multiphysics, optim.

Needs analysis / Conclusion

An unique & well known environment for addressing all

physics / a standard multiphysics framework in order to:

enhance overall simulation efficiency (automation, advanced sim.),

provide metier / domain tools for E / M-CAD designer,

improve data exchanges between physics and the access to HPC

resources,

ease the collaborative exchanges between sites: a single PLM /

SLM* interface,

set a transverse technical support team: Training, methodologies,

best practices …

develop a collaboration program with the tool provider for

enhancing the visibility on both sides: roadmap / deployment
