Spun inNazareth,
Pennsylvania
This Piggy was inspired by Children In Common (CIC), a charity
that delivers clothing and toys to orphans in Eastern Europe.
Originally made with ngering type yarns so piggy could easily
be tucked away in a pocket, diaper bag, etc. It is adapted here
in a larger elted version.

Felting:
Pig is easily elted in washing machine (top loading). Use HOT
water and lowest water setting. It is helpul to add a ew items
besides the piggy to the wash to increase the agitation, which is
what causes the elting. You can add a small amount o detergent
i you wish but pig will elt without it. Set machine or the most
rigorous agitation cycle. Keep a careul watch to rescue pig beore
spin cycle. You may want to set the dial back to agitation a ewtimes to get desired size. Remove pig, rinse in cold water. Blot out
as much excess water as possible and set in warm place to dry.
When dry embroider on eyes and nostrils. You may want to trim
some o the uzz o piggy i you used Mauch Chunky.
ALSO
This pattern works just as well in our Naturally Nazareth yarn!
Just choose your color, and instead of the suggested needle size use a
U.S. 10 / 6 mm if felting or a U.S. 6 / 4 mm if not felting.
