Genetic engineering is an extremely powerful technology whose mechanisms are not fully understood even by those who do the
basic scientific work. They are changing plants and animal.
Most genetically engineered crops planted are designed either to survive exposure to certain herbicides or
insects.
Its connected to the scientific revolution because there is new ideas in all sciences.
