Hi Everyone, this is your last learning log, your story books this week are:
I will read these stories this week on Seesaw. If you are going into school, I
have sent a video into school for you to listen to the story again in the
classroom.
Tricky Words
This week I have included the next set of tricky words to
go over during the holidays. Keep practicing the tricky
words I have already send you.
Blending and spelling Words for the week
All these words use the digraphs we have already worked
on. Read each word separating each sound. Try to practice
them each day. Then get an adult to read out each word
and write it out in your home learning book. I have
highlighted the digraph in red.

Weekly Writing Lessons
This week we are writing sentences linked to The Lighthouse keepers Lunch. We
will be describing his sandwich.

Reading
Over the summer holidays, keep reading your books on Bug Club. Try
to log on and read two books a week. I will make sure you have
enough books allocated to your account.

Add together all the items from the story
We have worked on counting in 2’s. can you now count in
2’s to find out how many shells Mrs. Grinling collects
each day.

Numeracy Activity 2
I have attached some more White Rose math’s activities. These all cover number
bonds and number families using + and – signs. I will post a video just to remind
you of the number bonds we have worked on in class and at home. Choose which
activities you complete.

Make a delicious sandwich for Mr. Grinling, post
me a picture of your sandwich. Perhaps you could
have picnic in the garden and include your
sandwich.
