`The things you have to know: GERMDAS stands for:
G) stands for groupings
E) stands for exponents
R) stands for radicals
M) Stands for multiplication
D) Stands for division
A) Stands for addition
S) Stands for subtraction
Step 1
Look at the problemThen go down the line. Does the problem have any groupings?
If yes re-write the problem
Keep doing that but change the groupings to exponents or multiplication etc.
