A VPN network is established between the Mongolian DMZ zone and the firewall of the Chinese DMZ. The firewall will start and authenticate the secure network channel encrypted by the IPSec protocol to ensure information security.

v Dec 1, 2018 -- Apr 1, 2019, a paper version of the Manifest is still required to submit to both Customs administrations. The E-Manifest is used in parallel with the paper form.
v From Apr 1, 2019, the paper form Manifest will be cancelled.
