The Foreign Fee Schedule is charged for:
• StudentswhosefinancialproviderisemployedoutsideIndia,Bangladesh,Bhutan,Nepal,PakistanorSriLanka.
• StudentswhosefinancialproviderisnotacitizenofIndia,Bangladesh,Bhutan,Nepal,PakistanorSriLanka,butisemployedand/orlivingwithinthesecountries.
• Thefinancialproviderisdefinedastheparentorlegalguardian.
TheFeeisbilledinUS$.
KIS Fee
Security Deposit
PayablebybanktransferordemanddraftuponacceptanceofKISadmissionoffer.RefundablewhenstudentsleaveKIS,subjecttoschoolregulationsregardingpenalty(non-returnoftextbooks,musicinstruments,KISproperties)andtheadjustmentofdues,ifany.Nointerestwillbepaidonthisdeposit.KIScannotholdplacesforstudentswhohavenotpaidsecuritydepositsordonotmeetpaymentdeadlines.SecuritydepositswillberetainedbyKISforsixweeksafterstudentdeparturetoclearallaccounts.Securitydepositsmaynotbeusedagainstfinalpaymentoffeesoraccounts.
Development Fee
Fornewstudentsacceptedandenrolledingradesk-8,KISDevelopmentFeeshallbepayablepriortooratthetimeofenrollment.
Alumni Services Fee
AnAlumniServicesFeewillbechargedonadmissiontocoveralumniannualpublicationsandpostage,accesstoalumnidirectoryandrelatedexpenses.
Annual Fee
Includes:
Tuition-Coverscoursefeesanduseof
texts,librarybooks,computers,science
laboratoryequipmentandcertain
classroomsupplies.
Boarding-Dormitoryaccommodation.
FoodServices-Allmeals,morningcoffeeand
afternoontea.
Activities - Admission to “All School”
programs.
StudentGovernment - Class funds and
StudentCouncilforGrades7-12.
AdvisorEvents-Advisorshostingmealsfor
advisees.
MusicTuitionPolicy - All students are
providedwithinstructioninonemusical
instrumentoftheirchoicefreeofcharge.
Facilities and Amenities - The use
andmaintenanceofallKISbuildings,
equipment,etc.
FeesforSemester1(July)andSemester2
(January)arepayablebythefinaldayofthe
previoussemester.
Apenaltycalculatedattherateof12%per
annumwillbechargedfromtheduedate
tothedateofpaymentontheoutstanding
balanceifthepaymentisnotmadebythe
duedate.
Students with accounts in arrears at the
endofKISacademicyearandwhohavenot
paidtheirfeesforthenextacademicyear
orsemesterwillnotbeallowedtoreturnto
KISthefollowingacademicyearorsemester
untilaccountshavebeensettled.
Other Expenses
Thesewillbechargedextraandarenot
included in KIS Annual Fee:
• Wheremoreexpensiveclassroom
suppliesareprovided,costsmaybe
charged.Presentlytheseclassesinclude
Art,HomeEconomics,IndustrialArtsand
Photography.
• FieldTripsarepartofKISacademic
programandareplannedasanintegral
partofthecurriculum.Studentsare
expectedtoparticipateinfieldtripsfor
whichparentswillbecharged.
• Parentswillbechargedforrepairsor
replacementstoschoolpropertyorother
equipmentandlosttextbooksbystudents
foundtoberesponsible.
• Personalsupplies,laundry(dhobi)costs,
vouchersforpurchasingitems,Gymkhana
(snackbar),longweekendallowance,
travelallowanceandforcashpurchases.
Penalty
Newstudents-Aftertheacceptanceof
admission,evenifthestudentdoesnot
actuallytakehis/herplaceintheschool,a
penaltyof50%ofthesecuritydepositwillbe
levied.Norefundwillbegivenasofthefirst
dayofschool.
Withdrawal
1.ParentsareexpectedtoinformKISAdmissionsofficeinwritingby1Aprilor1Octoberiftheyintendtowithdrawanystudentwithoutpenaltyforthenextsemester.
2.ParentsfailingtoinformKISAdmissionsofficeinwritingbytheabove-mentioneddatesshallbeliabletopayonemonths’consolidatedfeeifnoticeisgivenafter1Aprilor1October,butbeforetheendofthecurrentsemester.
3.ParentsinformingKISAdmissionsofficeinwritingduringvacationtimeofstudentwithdrawalwitheffectfromthefollowingsemester,shallbeliabletopaytwomonths’consolidatedfees.
4.ParentsinformingKISAdmissionsofficein writing of student withdrawal from thefirstdayofnewsemesterclassesshallbeliabletopaythreemonths’consolidatedfees.
5.Studentsfailingtojoinclasseswithin 48 hours of KIS commencement of classeswithoutadequateandjustifiablereasonshallbeliabletolosetheirplacesattheschool.
6.Nofees,partialorfull,willberefunded if students are withdrawn orrequiredtoleaveKISduringasemesterforanyreason.

Notificationofanyfeechangeswillbegivenbefore31Decemberoftheprecedingacademicyear.
