WehaveKnitforPeacegroupsinIndia,Pakistan,Nepal,Bangladesh,Rwanda,AfghanistanandaredevelopingnewgroupsinSouthAfricaandtheMiddleEast

It’sabsolutelyfantastictoseehowmanyofyouarebusilyclackingawaytoproduceawholerangeoffunandimaginativeTwiddlemuffs.
We’verefinedourpatterntomakeitclearertofollow.Youcandownloadthenewpatternfromourwebsite.
Weparticularlyneedwarmadultclothes,bedsocks,scarves,Twiddlemuffs,dressinggownsandlargesizedblankets,children’scardigansandjumpers.Wehaveatthemomentalotofbabyhatsandteddies.Wearealsoinneedofdonationsofyarn,whichwesendtosupportKnitforPeacegroupsinprisons,hospitalsandrefuges.Wearedelightedforanythingyousendandcanalwaysfindpeoplewhoneedthem.Wewewouldliketothankallourknittersfortheirongoinggenerosity.Becauseofyou,wehavebeenabletosendoutnearly1,000itemsofknittingtoemergencynightshelters,hospitalsandwomen’srefugesintheUKandabroadthismonth.

StayingatLoharuHouse,theancestralhomeoftheNawabofLoharu,wehavebookedthewholehouseandexpecttoknitinthegardenandontheveranda.Areallyinterestingpackedscheduleisplanned,withvisitstomuseums,marketsandpalaces,aswellasofferingyourchancetovisittheTajMahalonadaytripandexperiencethecolourfulromanceofRajasthan.Theweatherwillbewonderful;nottoohotbutblueskiesandsunshine.Limitedplacesavailable.
