Much needed warmth provided by those best placed to help. We have Knit for Peace groups in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Rwanda, Afghanistan and are developing new groups in South Africa and the Middle East Do remember to re-visit the website, as we update it regularly with news, requests, new patterns and more. Keep your eyes on the website for more info! It’s absolutely fantastic to see how many of you are busily clacking away to produce a whole range of fun and imaginative Twiddlemuffs. We’ve refined our pattern to make it clearer to follow.You can download the new pattern from our website. We particularly need warm adult clothes, bed socks, scarves, Twiddlemuffs, dressing gowns and large sized blankets, children’s cardigans and jumpers.We have at the moment a lot of baby hats and teddies.We are also in need of donations of yarn, which we send to support Knit for Peace groups in prisons, hospitals and refuges.We are delighted for anything you send and can always find people who need them. We we would like to thank all our knitters for their ongoing generosity. Because of you, we have been able to send out nearly 1,000 items of knitting to emergency night shelters, hospitals and women’s refuges in the UK and abroad this month.
