Catering Academy
The OSM catering academy aims to continuously improve the competence of seafarers in catering functions onboard.In addition to assessment, training and career development the Academy offers training and employmentopportunities under a new Catering Education Program.The program is designed to provide young talented Hospitality Management graduates entry into the maritimeindustry as well as acquire the necessary skills for a successful career at sea.

• Educate and mentor new young talented students to become competent catering crew and develop further into future chief cooks and chief stewards.
• Provide training opportunities for our existing catering crew to achieve highest international qualification standards.
• Assess, monitor and enhance competencies of catering crew to ensure quality performance, career development and succession planning.
• Address today’s market demands and our customers’ needs• Ensure compliance to MLC catering standards
