Learn from Wiki: Volunteering
Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity, intended to promote good or
improve human quality of life. It is considered as serving the society through own interest,
personal skills or learning, which in return produces a feeling of self-worth and respect, instead of money. Volunteering is also famous for the skill development, to socialize and to
have fun. It is also intended to make contacts for possible employment or for a variety of
other reasons.
Volunteering takes many forms, and can be performed by anyone with own set of skills.
Many volunteers are specifically trained in the areas they work in, such as medicine,
education, or emergency rescue. Other volunteers serve on an as-needed basis, such as in
response to a natural disaster or for a beach-cleanup.

Anne, was such a victim. When she introduced her new boyfriend to us at
a dinner party, we were all ______________ to find he was an extremely
handsome guy. Anne had gone out with another man before, but they
broke up several months ago because, she said, that man was not her

be a ______________ in sheep’s clothing. After weeks of seeming
happiness, she learned that he was already married. Worse still, by the
time she found it out, she had been cheated out of her life savings. And,

that appearances can be ______________.

Count On Me by Bruno Mars
[Verse 1]
If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle
of the seaI'll sail the world to find you
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and
you can't see
I'll be the light to guide you
Find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in
need
[Chorus]
You can count on me like 1, 2, 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it
I can count on you like 4, 3, 2
And you'll be there
'cause that's what friends are supposed to do
oh yeah
ooooooh, oooohhh yeah yeah
[Verse 2]
If you're tossin' and you're turnin
and you just can't fall asleep
I'll sing a song beside you
And if you ever forget how much you really
mean to me
Every day I will remind you
Find out what we're made of
When we are called to help our friends in
need
[Chorus]
You can count on me like 1, 2, 3I'll be there
And I know when I need it
I can count on you like 4, 3, 2
And you'll be there
'cause that's what friends are supposed to do
oh yeah
ooooooh, oooohhh yeah yeah
You'll always have my shoulder when you
cry
I'll never let goNever say goodbye
[Chorus]
Oh, You can count on me like 1, 2, 3
I'll be there
And I know when I need it
I can count on you like 4, 3, 2
And you'll be there
'cause that's what friends are supposed to do
oh yeah
ooooooh, oooohhh
You can count on me 'cause I can count on
