for all its enrolled students. You will need to show that you have the minim
um required scores in order to be enrolled in
that Marym
ount course. Whether or not you qualify to earn M
arymount credit does not affect your enrollm
ent in the AP course.
What happens if I don’t have the required scores? You can take the PSAT, ACT, or SAT again and try to im
prove them
. At the beginning of the school year, students who want to enroll for Marym
ount credit but do not have qualifying scores will have to sit for placem
ent tests that Marym
ount will administer at SPHS to determ
ine eligibility.
How do I register? You can pick up an application form
from your HS counselor. You need signatures from
your parents and your counselor. Turn the com
pleted form in to your counselor. If you are applying for a course that has
prerequisites, you must staple to your application form
a copy of your scores printed out from the College Board or
ACT website.
When is the deadline to apply?

ent, and the program
does not cost anything. It is free.
What happens if I enroll in a course and later decide to drop it? You can either drop or withdraw from
a course up until certain deadlines. See what the difference is and what the deadlines are on the next page.
When I start to apply for college, how
do I let the college know that I have already earned som
e credit? You will need to have M
arymount send a transcript to that college. See the section on transcripts for inform
