Meet & Greet with Author Y.S. Wishnick
In his thought provoking book, From a Culture of Dependency to a Cul-
ture of Success, author
Y.S. Wishnick, Ed.D. reveals how more and more Americans are missing
out on the greatness of their country; its
passion for excellence, its commitment to
the dignity and self-worth of each indi-
vidual, and its belief that every person
has the right to achieve their own vision
for success. He points out how chaos,
confusion,
disappointment, and hopelessness have
pushed and pulled Americans into a
state of dependency.
A stimulating book, From a Culture of Dependency to a Culture of Suc-
cess is filled with compelling insights that will help people focus on
what’s right about America and the American people. The author hopes
his work will enlighten the American people about America’s present
state and inspire them towards change and independence.
Come Meet the Author on Sunday June 3rd from 11:30 am – 1:00 p.m. at
Kristofer’s Bistro at the Amado Territory Ranch, exit 48 on I-19. You can
enjoy appetizers or brunch while you purchase a book, chat with the
author, and have your book signed!

U. S. Customs and Border Protection at the Mariposa Port of Entry, in coordination with the General Services Administration, announces the move to new passenger vehicle and com-mercial primary lanes. The Mariposa Port opened its gates for daily operations on Sunday, April 29, and traffic flowed through the new lanes. The adjacent Mariposa Cargo Facility opened with new lanes and a temporary truck-dock on Monday, April 30. To ensure the safety of all travelers and construction crews, they are asking drivers to please approach the port with caution. Posted signage will point drivers directly to the new inspection booths. The Mariposa Expansion Project which began in 2010 is scheduled to be completed in 2014. The new design will improve the overall inspection process for both passenger and commercial travelers.
