Description
For the control of lighting
circuits in private buildings,
small industry buildings and
administration buildings.
Latching relays - operate when
impulsed by a signal voltage.
The impulse can be provided via
a pushbutton or switch. The first
pulse operates the relay and
latches it into its set (opposite)
state, the next operation of the
pushbutton returns the relay into
its reset (original) state.
The latching relays are built to
add on optionally the following
auxiliaries :
- an auxiliary for centralised
ON/OFF control EPN050
- an auxiliary contact for
remote signalling EPN051
- an auxiliary for multi levelled
centralised control EPN052
- an auxiliary for control by
maintained contact EPN053.
Connection capacity
10 rigid cables
6 flexible cables
Conform to standard EN669-1
and EN669-2-2

Auxiliaries for centralised
control
The EPN050 allows the
centralised control of several
light sources which can be
turned on or off simultaneously
the separate switching by
pushing the pushbuttons, which
are connected with the latching
relay, remains possible.
The EPN052 allows a generic
central control of individual
central on/off EPN050
Auxiliary contact
A remote signalling can be
realised with the auxiliary
contact EPN051.
Auxiliary for control by
maintained contact
When control devices with
permanent impulse are
externally driven, e.g. time
switches or limit switches, an
impulse control directly to the
latching relays coil is possible
with the auxiliary contact EP 053.
Connection latching relay +
auxiliary
Several auxiliaries can be
combined with the latching relay.

An exciting technique
The patented double lens tech-
nique ensures a very precise
detection on 360 of a person
moving on an area up to
13 x 7 m. The integrated
lux-meter makes it also possible
to differentiate the proportion of
natural and artificial light.
Rotating and adaptable
According to the architectural
constraints, the detection zone
can be adjusted with precision
thanks to the rotation of lens on
90.
Override
The command entry on the 2
channel presence detector
(EE811) and on the presence
regulator (EE812) allows the
commutation of a lighting circuit
(for example via a pushbutton).
This facility is ideal for presenta-
tions during which the room must
completely or partially darkened.
When not more presence is detec-
ted the module will return to the
automatic mode after the pre-
selected time delay. Manual dim-
ming is also possible via the same
command entry on the presence
regulator.
Regulation with constant ligh-
ting : nearly a must in all
open-plan offices. The presence
regulator (EE812) adapts the
artificial light depending on
natural light and presence. The
light intensity constantly remains
fixed according to the preselec-
ted set point. An
effective and pleasant lighting
can be carried out easily and
quickly with electronic regulators
or the Hager 1000W dimmer.
Settings : lighting, time delay
and manual dimming. Adjustable
from 5 to 1200 Lux, the ligh-
ting/variation can also be setted
manually via the command entry
on the presence regulator. The
time delay of the lighting and
presence channel can be selec-
ted individually from 30 seconds
to 1 hour.
Basic lighting mode : for safety
in hotels, homes, hospitals and
corridors. The detector will
switch on the lighting channel in
case of presence. The time delay
begins once no more presence
is detected. The light will then be
reduced to the selected value
between 0 and 50%, then
released after 15 minutes for
the EE812 model.
Master and slave : evolutionary
for wide control
The presence detectors can be
connected between them for
corridors or large premises. The
Slave module will for example
detect a presence, inform the
Master module which then com-
mands the light depending on
luminosity, override and duration
of lighting.
Comfortable energy saving with the presence detectors
Benefits :
Models with 1 or 2 channels
Regulators of presence /
light
Detection zone of 360
on 13 x 7 m
Override entry or manual
dimming
Natural and artificial light
measuring
Wide setting possibilities Basic lighting mode on
presence regulators EE812
Master/Slave function
For the control or the regulation of lighting depending on
presence and natural light
The new Hager presence detectors with double lens
technique are adapted to all architectural requirements.
Whether for the regulation of the light depending on occu-
pancy or simply to switch on the lights depending on pre-
sence and ambient luminosity, the Hager presence detectors
offer the necessary flexibility for each application.
Ventilation, ambient temperature or alarms can also be piloted
exclusively by the detection of a movement thanks to the
second channel. A pushbutton connected on the override entry
makes it for example possible to cut the light or reduce it to
the wished level during a presentation.

Description
Kilowatt hours meters measure
the active energy used in an
electric installation. The range
includes meters with pulsed
output for remote indication or
linking into an energymanagement system.
Kwh meters can be used for
local metering of installation or
monitoring of power
consumption in individual
machines.

Control relays ...
Control relays are used in instal-
lations where the current or the
voltage fluctuation may damage
equipments.
The range is composed of
modular devices :
Voltage control relays dedicated
to protect air conditioning equip-
ments :
EU 100, EU 101 single phase
EU 301 three phase
Voltage control relay used to
survey DC or AC voltage :
EU 102 single phase product to
monitor DC or AC
EU 302 three phase control relay
used to check AC voltage
Current control relay used to
survey DC or AC current :
EU 103 single phase product to
monitor DC or AC current direct
via current transformer
Phase control relay
EU 300 to verify phase parame-
ters (asymmetry, loss of phase,
undervoltage)
The two digital control relays
EU 102 and EU 103 are
equipped with an LCD indicator.
During normal operation, the
LCD displays the measured
voltage (EU 102) or current
(EU 103). The LCD and the local
pushbuttons are also used to
enter the parameter settings
(type of signal, monitored lev-
els,...)
In case of an error, the relay willclose a contact (changeover
contact 8A)
