Some of other main products are; MV-HV CTs, VTs, Fuses, and Lighting Fixtures. All of ourproducts have type test reports from CESI (Italy), KEMA (Holland), IPH (Germany) and ICMET (Romania). By developing its own technology considering quality importance, Elimsan became one of
transmission and distribution systems. Since last 29 years, more than 100.000 units of these equipments had beenmanufactured and distributed over all Turkey and world. They are all under operation satisfactorily since their assembly Elimsan has a very large land more than 550.000 sqm and 50.000 sqm closed facilities. All of our equipments are manufactured with CNC controlled workbenches under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. Our products are tested in our accredited High Voltage Laboratories according to ISO 17025 standards.
Since the establishment date, Elimsan always produces advanced technology along the Turkey’sdevelopment process; represents our country successfully, challenges in competitive international market conditions. Its products are preferred on wide geographical areas from Australia to Estonia, from Far East to South America. In the year of 2008 Elimsan has signed a partnership agreement with Saudi Cable which is on of the

Brief History Of Company; Elimsan
for manufacturing electrical switchgears and switching devices.
ELIMSAN is a specialist company in the electrical switchgears production for the range 7,2 kV – 525 kV. We have a very big capacity for the production of SF6 Gas and Vacuum Circuit Breakers (10000 pcs./year), Metal Enclosed Switchgears (3000 panels/year), Metal Clad Switchgears (1500 panels / year), High Voltage-Disconnectors (3000 units / year).

Elimsan TG21-XX designation covers medium voltage cubicles or prefabricated systems with SF6 or vacuum
switchgears TG21-XX type suitable for:
Small substations for private usersMV- LV public distribution substationsMedium voltage metering substationsNetwork substations and industrial applicationsMotor control centers with vacuum contactors
These switchgears permit carry out all the functions that could be presented, so much in the networks of electrical energy distribution and transformer centers.
Operations of development, such as to break in no-load of the ring networks or radial networks.Disconnecting with earthing of the active parts, to effect periodic maintenance.Protection of power transformers for overloads and short circuits.Troubleshooting in cables and monitoring the phases conformity before making of cloosed- loops.
STANDARTS The switchgears have been developed and tested according to the following procedures:
IEC 62271-200. A.C. Metal-Enclosed Switchgear and ControlgearIEC 62271-100. High-voltage circuit breakersIEC 60265-1. High-voltage switchesIEC 60420. High-voltage alternating current switch-fuse combinations.IEC 62271-102. High-voltage disconnector and earthing switchs.

Switchgear in service:
Being in service with the switch closed, to access to the interior of the switchgear, it’s necessary to accomplish the following operations:
Open the switch.Verify the absence of tension in the cables by means of the neon lamps of voltage indicators. Close the earthing-switch.Open the door.
Switchgear out of service: To open the door previously earthing switch must be closed. In this position:
The switch can not be closed. The earthing switch can not be opened.

Exist a double interlock:

To accomplish the measure in cables will can be get, by a wiling action, realising the interlocks using an
This equipment prevents closing of the door and, before closing it have to be removed, remaining the interlocks in its initial position.
To prevent that someone could operate the switchgear, while are effected the measurements in the cables, exits a safety device that prevents the introduction of the operating lever.
Limited overall dimensions:The switchboards can be installed in small rooms and be leaned against the wall. All the operations are carried out at the front of the switchboard.
Service continuity:The segregations of the various compartments allow to operate when switchboard alive to re-placecomponents such as fuses, relays, cable terminals, etc.
Safety:Suitables mechanical and key locks, guarantee the safety of personel, prevent-ing from any possibility of wrong operations. The metal segregations between the bus-bar compartment and the instruments compartment, prevents accidental contacts with medium voltage components. The switchboard is provided with grounding of the whole structure and components.
Inspection and maintenance:Inspection of the equipment is facilitated by porthole placed on the unit door and the maintenance is simple by the easy access to equipment with open door.
Construction characteristics and painting:The structural steelwork is made of bent and bolted sheet plate, painting with electrostatic powder colour RAL7032.

Load Break Switch cubicles and off-load disconnector cubicles: The lower part of the switch and of the
clips.Transformer protection cubicles: Connection is made at the fuse lower supports.Circuit Breaker cubicles: connection is made on a support lug mounted on the capacitor dividers.
The reduced depth of the cubicles results in the last phase being within arm reach, and this greatly facilitates cable installation. For easier work, a stud enables the operator to hook up the cable end clip during the connection operation.
EARTHING SWITCHESIn generally Elimsan switchboards have two simultaneously operated earthing switches. The station earth bar is situated on the cubicle top. The station is connected to earth by means of a contact stud on the forward part of the side partition.
The lower part of cubicles houses standardized for fuses. During fuses changing the operator’s safety is ensured by two earthing switches.

Motor protection:Within the limit of 3 starting per hour, each of a duration of 10 seconds and with Id/ln < 6 (Id = starting current and In = motor rated current), use fuses with a rated current immediately superior to 3 times the motor rated current.
Safety is a constructional feature at the switchboards. During the internal arc fault the gases are directed intothe rear vent, thus preserving the safety of the operator standing in front of the cubicle.
Tests have demonstrated the absence of dangerous distortions or projections of elements in way of the station front panel.
DISCONNECTOR MONITORINGThe disconnector control is shown on the mimic diagram by the position of a rod directly coupled to the control shaft carrying the contacts without any intermediate linkage. This provides a fail safe indication of the position (open or closed) of the switch.
VOLTAGE MONITORINGVoltage presence or absence is shown by means of neon indicator lights connected to the capacitor dividers
possible to check the phase sequence of two adjacent panels in a fail safe way, as shown on the sketch opposite.
Correct phase sequence: Presence lights on. Test light off.
Incorrect phase sequence: Presence lights dimming. Test light on.No voltage condition without test light. Light off.
Checking that cables which are not live is of major importance prior to closing the earthing switch.Hence the feature of the neon lamp which is a fail safe system to indicate live cables.
