claiming to be an employee of their internet service
provider. Under the guise of security, they request to
access their computer remotely. After the customer
grants access, they are locked out of their computer
and the person on the phone demands $750 to unlock

Answer:
We will reimburse the fees for a computer specialist to
respond to the cyber extortion, as well as the costs to
repair or replace the computer hardware and software
and to restore the data.
Note: We will not reimburse any extortion or ransom

contract value up to $15,000 if there is a written
contract between the customer and the service
provider.
If the customer requires full legal representation or
advice, my Identity would cover up to $25,000 for
legal fees and expenses to pursue or defend covered
lawsuits.
