Technology and Foods II will collaborate to create an online cookbook
The Concept Students from Foods II are responsible for cooking
the food Technology students will take pictures of the
process and maintain individual online recipe accounts at www.cookskills.com
The Process www.cookskills.com uses open source
technology concepts to allow anyone to upload recipes to their website
The Process
The users can collect recipes and subscribe to chefs of their choice
The Process Each Technology
student will have an individual account
Technology students will pair with Foods II students to locate, save, and cook recipes
The process The pair of students
will print, cook, and eat a saved recipe from their favorites
Go to Chinese Claypot Steamed Rice for cooking instructions
The Process Each group will create a recipe that includes:
Instructions Pictures of each step as they cook Picture of the final dish
Uploading Recipes The students will type
a title, tag, and description of their recipe
The technology students will upload pictures of each step and include captions to clarify instructions
Your recipe is available for the world to see after uploading the instructions
Anyone can search for the title, tagged, or keywords and receive your recipe
Online Cookbook Add your uploaded recipes with unlimited saved
recipes to favorites to manage your Online Personal Cookbook
Interested Imagine yourself in your kitchen with a laptop and
a resource to countless recipes Why pay for cookbooks when you can create your
own and share recipes from other users? Imagine the possibilities of other websites with
professional chefs from all over the world Culinary Arts students could use this website to
build a reputation as a rated chef
