Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time July 15, 2018
Truth shall spring out of the earth, — Psalm 85:12 and justice shall look down from heaven.
CALLED BY GOD Today’s scriptures invite us to listen to two calls. The first is the call issued by the LORD to the prophet Amos, the “shepherd and a dresser of sycamores” (Amos 7:14). The second is the call the Lord Jesus issued to the Twelve, whom he sent out “two by two” (Mark 6:7). These faithful people responded to the call, prophesying and preaching to the people to whom they had been sent. Each of us received a call when we were baptized. The second reading invites us to ponder that call as we are re-minded that we are chosen in Christ and that, in love, God “destined us for adoption” (Ephesians 1:5). As adopted daughters and sons of God we are called to bring the presence of Christ into our marriages, families, schools, and places of work. Let us be inspired today to say yes to the call we hear once again through God’s living word. Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co., Inc.

Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co., Inc.
Exciting Things Happening ! Every 3 months we receive a cash payment from the campaign. Work is going on now in the Kitchen of the Parish Hall
and soon the Furnace and the Rectory work will begin.
The devotion to the Eucharist is the most noble because it has God as its object; it is the most profitable for salvation, because it gives us the
Author of Grace; it is the sweetest, because the Lord is Sweetness Itself... (Pope St. Pius X)
We have Silent Eucharistic Adoration at St. Mary & St. Andrew’s Church

Pro-Life News
The President has recently proposed a new pro-life policy.
No Title X family planning funds to groups that perform abortions.
The implementation of such a rule requires a formal 60-day period where the public is invited to submit their comments on the proposal. Comment period ends 7/31/18. The rule is now officially published in the Federal Register, and open for public comment. There are plenty of rule changes, but this one is different. This rule change will cost Planned Parenthood millions of dollars. The abortion lobby is now rallying their activists to register their opposition to this rule change. They are expected to deluge the Department of Health and Human Services and let their voice be heard.
LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!!! Post a comment online at this link: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents /2018/06/01/2018-11673/compliance-with-statutory-program-integrity-requirements

Our Food Pantry is in Need of Supplies.
The requests are increasing and lately,
the frequency of donations has diminished to only a
few per month.
We service on average 10 ~ 15 families per
week. Any non-perishable
foods, toiletries, paper goods, etc. are surely appreciated! God Bless!
