Destination Kiama is the team within Kiama MunicipalCouncil that coordinates all tourism operations, opportunities and strategic marketing.
YOUR INVITATIONDestination Kiama invites local businesses and events to partner with us to sustainably grow overnight visitor expenditure.
The Kiama area (Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa, Jamberoo, Minnamurra, Bombo) has been welcoming visitors for many years and the tourism industry is recognised as vital for our local economy.
Destination Kiama is the team within Kiama Municipal Council that coordinates destination management, tourism operations, opportunities, strategic marketing, industry and experi-ence development, partnerships and destination events.
Our team operates across the seven following areas:
• Destination ManagementPrioritisation and coordination of key projects.
• Destination MarketingStrategic marketing of our destination.
• Visitor ServicingOperation of the accredited Visitor Information Centre, partnership administration, online bookings, publications, volunteer management and service delivery.
• Destination and Major EventsEvent attraction, New Years Eve, destination and major event support and funding.
• Industry DevelopmentProvision of opportunities for the local tourism sector and businesses, to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
• Community and Industry EngagementTourism After Hours networking events, Above and Beyond Awards program, Tourism Advisory Committee representation, communication via The Buzz and Destination Kiama Facebook page.
• The PavilionConferences, Weddings, Business and Community Events.

2020-21 PARTNERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
Completion of this Destination Kiama Partnership Application Form constitutes a binding agreement to participate in the Kiama Municipal Council, Destination Kiama Partnership
Program in accordance with these terms and conditions.
l We, Kiama Municipal Council, trading as Destination Kia ma aim to best represent all business or event and tailor our information provision based on the customer's individual
needs. The quality of the information we are able to provide is based on what the partner provides to us
2. The participant agrees to ensure that content or any information or material provided or published does not contain any defamatory, slanderous, misleading or deceptive
material or any infringement of copyright or otherwise contravene laws and regulations in force in Australia
3 Destination Kia ma reserves the right to refuse any substandard materials and to edit copy and images supplied to fit themes and templates
4. Responsibility is on the participant to ensure that images meet quality standards and adhere to all relevant copyright laws
5. Responsibility is on the participant to ensure that all information listed on ATDW and in any advertisements in Destination Kiama collateral (eg. official Visitor Guide) is correct
when supplied.
6. Failure to provide any material by the appropriate deadlines may result in cancellation and loss of any monies paid
7. The participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Kia ma Municipal Council and the Destination Kiama Partner Program, Visitor Services and Events staff from and against
all losses, liabilities, proceedings, claims, expenses and other costs arising directly or indirectly as a result of or in connection with the promotion of the product or facilities of the
participant
8. Destination Kiama will not be liable in any manner for loss or damage to any film, artwork, or other materials, which may be supplied
9. Where a business resides or conducts their business outside the Kiama Local Government Area, Destination Kiama reserves the right to refuse partnership based on a sighted
possible competition with a local partnered business.
10 It is at the discretion of Destination Kiama to accept the inclusion of a partner into the Partnership Program and associated activities.
11 Participation in marketing and public relation opportunities provided by Destination Kia ma, Destination NSW & Tourism Australia will be at each organisation's own discretion.
12 Participation in the partnership program is not confirmed until payment has been received and, where relevant, selection criteria met
13 The Destination Kiama Partnership cost is valid from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Invoices will be sent from Kiama Municipal Council to the billing address provided and
payment is to be made within 14 days.
14. A discount of 25% will be applied to all application invoices for the 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021 partnership period (only) following the COVID-19 epidemic
15. kiama.com.au will display partner information sourced directly from the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW). To fully utilise the website features, tourism partners need
to list their event or business for free on ATDW. Should businesses be ineligible to list on ATDW, a website listing will be manually created for you to ensure your inclusion on
the kiama.com.au website please contact us if this is the case. Visit https://atdw.com.au to create or modify your listing
