CONCEPTThe patient rooms at the Landstuhl Childrens’ Health Center willprovide a functional and comfortable space for the patients, families,and staff. A fun color scheme will serve as a positive distraction forchildren to make the rooms feel less like a hospital, while the layoutwill provide ample space for everyone. The flooring variations will act as zone separation while the entry floor shape will aid in helping staffremember to wash their hands every time they enter or exit the rooms. The overall design will promote a positive experience for everyone.
