BFM SpotlightChris Bronestine, RNCoordinator forBickford is ourspotlight for themonth of January.Chris grew up inQuincy and graduatedfrom QHS in 1979. Shegraduated fromBlessing-Reiman in1994 with her BSNdegree. She startedher career working incritical care, thenhome health care andon to a nursing home. She later worked inthe Hannibal E.R. atwhich time she gainedher MSN degree fromSouth University inSavannah, Georgia.
Chris has two grownchildren; Ashley, 21,who is following in hermother's footstepspursuing a nursingdegree herself. Herson, Skyler is 19 yearsold and in theconstruction business.She just recentlyadded to her family asix month old foxterrier mix named"Roe". Chris says shehas always enjoyedbeing a nurse. It givesher a great feeling ofsatisfaction knowingshe is able to helpthose in need. Thankyou Chris for all youdo at Bickfordresidents.
Quincy Resident of the Month Our resident for the month of January is ProfessorKokomo. He is a beautiful Siamese cat whose coat is tan incolor with highlights of black and brown around his eyes andnose. He eats well-balanced meals with just a touch of flavorcomplements of the Bickford Chefs. He's treated so well here,he stays on. He is quiet and well-behaved. His favorite placesto hang out are in the windows of his apartment so he canscout out what is going on in the field behind. Jay tells methat the Professor is officially spoiled and is loving everyminute of it! Thank you Jay for sharing a little bit about the"secret life" of the beloved Professor Kokomo.
