Definition of a Digital Twin: “A digital replica of physical assets,
processes and systems that can be used for various purposes.
The digital representation provides both the elements and the
dynamics of how an IoT device operates and lives throughout its
life cycle”.
The Digital Twin is a geometric (3D) representation of an asset
which is enriched with data relevant to end users.
