Sylast lubricants for lick roll application have been optimized to wet
the lick roll with a uniform thin layer. When the thread comes into
contact with this layer, the lubricant is transferred to the thread and
spread out forming a homogeneous film on the surface of the
thread.

Without antistatic agents, a very high static charge builds up on thread
during sewing. Threads do not run smoothly, and this inevitably results in
poor sewing & poor seam quality.

Standard lubricants hardly reduce friction on thread, & they are a
significant factor in needle overheating without heat protection, sewing
thread made of synthetic fiber will melt. This weakens the thread, leadingto crust formation at needle. The result is thread breakage and limits on
stitch frequency. Sewing thread treated with Sylast lubricant glides
smoothly into the fabric. It provides heat protection for threads made of
synthetic fiber. With Sylast you can sew at high speeds without the risk of
thread breakage.

Sylast-BA: Is developed as a specialty product for exhaust application as yarn
lubrication. Sylast BA confers to the knitting yarns the gliding properties
required for further processing. The product is applied in a fresh bath after
bleaching or dyeing of the yarns
Sylast-OVG: Lubricant for all kind of sewing threads & embroidery yarns.
Excellent sewing performances, good antistatic properties, high exhaustion
