Safety Precautions :

To Prevent electric shock ,unplug prior to servicing.

4.0 Installation:
a. Installation of Refrigerator:
The Installation of Refrigerator is an important process & must be carried out carefully &
Properly in order to achieve trouble free operation of appliance.
Following is the installation procedure for Refrige ration.
Refrigerator should be installed away from any heating appliance such as Gas
Stove or pressure cooker, Micro oven etc.
Avoid installation in open area where direct sun rays or rain would affect the efficiency and
Operation of the Refrigerator.
Ensure that the maximum ventilation is available to the condenser. Avoid installation in
compact area. If customer end space constraints, certain additional precautions are to be
taken such as providing a 200 to 300 mm high stand with a recess at the bottom to improve air
circulation.
b. Power Supply:
Advise to customer for separate socket provision which is to be used for Refrigerator only.
Supply to socket should be taken direct from main power supply source, in order to supply
more consistent supply to the Refrigerator.
Check voltage & Earthing at customer prior Refrigerator Plug in.
c. Transport:
Transport the Refrigerator upright. Read packing box the printed directions for its correct
position.
Don’t dragged the Refrigerator on floor with strips.
d. Packing Removal:
Cut the packing box strips.
Release top side adhesive tapes.
Remove top & side Thermocols.
Remove Packing box & base EPS Tray.
Inspect the Refrigerator physical & sealed system damages.
Remove all packing tapes which are fixed to internal accessories.

Refrigerator must be installed with proper ventilated area, space must be maintained as
Top side space 300mm, both side 300mm & back side 120mm (Refer user manual).
Refrigerator must be balance on shop floor proper with the help of Adjustable legs.
This will avoid the compressor making undue noise.
Fixed all accessories in their defined locations.
Keep Thermostat at Maximum position & allow to run appliance empty till 3~4 hours, which
help to stabilize the Temperature in all zones.
While the Refrigerator operating, service engineer must educate the customer for various
necessary requirements as described in user manual.
5.0 Assistance to Customers:
a. Cleaning: Exterior
Exterior must be cleaned with wet clean soft cotton.
Don’t use concentrated Soap or Chemical, which affect aesthetic look of appliances (Dull
exterior appearance).
b. Cleaning: Interior
Add ½ teaspoon Baking soda in Luke warm water & dipped clean cotton which to be used for
Interior surface & Accessories cleaning, don’t use any soap, vim, or any concentrated
Chemical.
c. Food storage:
All Fruits & Vegetables should be put inside polythene bags & kept inside vegetables tray.
Packed food products should be stored in such way that the cold air circulate around.
All liquid, semi liquid containers should be provided with airtight lids or covers.
All the frozen foods, Such as meat, beef, fish etc., and ice creams can be stored in the
Freezer.
d. Temperature Setting/Position:
Inside Temperature of Refrigerator can be controlled with the help of Freezer slider &
Potentiometer setting,
Advice to customers, please read user manual for Potentiometer.

e. Defrosting:
As natural phenomenon moisture in the air condensate on the cold surface,
So continuously frost formed inside Freezer compartment.
More frost formation inside Freezer area reducing the cooling effect inside Refrigerator &
hence reduces working efficiency.
The Frost free system automatically defrost the appliance & defrost water goes to the defrost
water tray.
f. Legs Adjustment:
Stand the Refrigerator firmly & level by rotating adjustable legs in clockwise & counter
clockwise direction.

g. Glass Shelves Adjustment:
To prevent glass Shelves from being unintentionally:
Lift the shelf slightly & draw it out forwards.
Move the shelf upward or downward depend on requirement.
Move shelf backward until it rest on back side of wall.
h. Bottle Racks Adjustment:
Lift the rack slightly & Pull it out.
Move the rack upward or downward depend on requirement up to provided rest locking
portion.
Move rack inside & slide it downward until it rest on locking portion.

i. Ice Making:
Pull outward the Ice tray from Ice maker assembly.
Fill up the ice tray with water up to water level & place it in the ice maker assembly.
Ice making time depends on defined temperature setting.
Hold twister knob & rotate in clockwise direction to dispense ice cubes into the bin.
Pull out bin to use dispensed ice cubes.
j. Door Locking:
For Locking & Unlocking door:
Push the lock key inside the lock.
Rotate it by clockwise direction to unlock & in counter clockwise direction to lock the door
(180deg- MAF).

k. Holiday Usage Guideline:
While Holiday plan Refrigerator must shut down.
Disconnect Power supply cord from socket.
Removed Freezer stored food items including Ice trays.
Clean Refrigerator & Dry.
Keep door opened condition, so outside fresh air flow inside the Refrigerator.
l. Restarting After Holiday:
Clean the Refrigerator, as explained above.
Connect Power Supply cord.
Run the Refrigerator empty at least 2~3 hours then load food.

6.0 Description of the appliance
The TC3520 &2620 is a Fridge-Freezer combination with a No Frost top Freezer Compartment. Evaporator & Refrigerator sensor used for the refrigeration control of the Freezer & Refrigerator control. Evaporator present in Freezer compartment which allow cooling in the Refrigerator compartment by forced type cooling mode. Therefore the Refrigerator compartment can be operated in conjunction with Forced Cooling through Freezer compartment Fan. Both compartment cooling control through Control knob & Potentiometer knob setting manually. The Freezer compartment cooled using Evaporator coil .The evaporator is thermally sealed off by an insulated EPS & Shroud assembly. A DC Fan motor is employed for even temperature distribution in the Refrigerator compartment. The Fan integrated with Air Return duct path. The Bottom side hot air blows up & passed the evaporator coil.
The Freezer compartment is equipped with an Evaporator coil, Fan module, Evaporator sensor, Defrost Heater & Safety Thermal fuse. The defrosting phases are initiated by way of the electronic control system by considering the compressor running time and door openings into account.

Defrosting
ON Conditions:
1. If at the time of power ON -Evaporator sensor is greater than +2ºc than defrost after 4hours from power is switched ON.
2. If at the time of power ON -Evaporator sensor is less than0ºc and Fridge air sensor temperature less than +8 0ºc then immediate defrost.
3. Total Elapsed time between two defrost minimum 24hours to maximum 72hours depends on number of door open and set temperature.
4. If compressor is running more than 5hours continuous then after 5hours defrost is ON.
OFF Conditions:
1. If Evaporator sensor temp is reached more than +13 0ºc then heater is OFF and then after 10 minutes (drip time) of heater OFF compressor will start.
2. If Evaporator sensor temp is not reached +13 0ºc then defrost will end by time base automatically means after 120minutes.
3. Thermal fuse blow off after 72ºc.

10.1 Brief survey of Test Mode
Activation of Test mode: - Disconnect Appliances from main power supply & wait for 3minutes.
- Reconnect the appliance, Turn Refrigerator compartment
Potentiometer to “Maximum” position, kept door open condition
& switch ON the appliances, 3beeps heard then close door within 30 sec.
Follow below table steps.

Compressor not started: - As per marked locat ion, as shown in Fig.12.1/1, Check the resistance - If resistance value (Ω) between all terminals are same, then Compressor is OK, so need to check other parts. - If resistance value between terminals differ from any one of them, Then compressor is defective & need to replace.

Service Manual No. 01/2018 TC2620/TC3520 from- 20 13.0 Troubleshooting: 13.1 Common Problems & Solutions 13.1.1 Symptom: No Defrosting Check: 1. Check Service mode 2. Disengage the Freezer base plate & Freezer shroud to check all connectors properly fixed, If found OK then check output voltage 220~240V at heater connector.
3. Measure the continuity of Thermal fuse, if no continuity observed then replaced Thermal fuse.
4. Measure the resistance of the heater with the help of Multimeter. It should around 430 to 490Ω.
5. If no malfunction is found in the above checks, then test the Evaporator sensor resistance
with the help of Multimeter.
13.1.2 Symptom: Not Starting After Power Supply. Check: 1. Check the power supply connected properly. 2. Remove the main PCB cover & check connector wiring soldering open or skips. Solution: 1. If there is dry soldering or open soldering on the main PCB, resolder it with soldering gun. 2. If any connector is not connected properly then re plug it firmly. 13.1.3 Symptom: Poor cooling effect accompanied by noise. Check: 1. Check if there is abnormal noise from Freezer compartment. Disengage the Fan cover & refixed properly in order to eliminate improper fitment. 2. If Fan does not run, remove it & check if its connector are connected properly. Test if there is approximately 12VDC Voltage at connector, if not observed then Fan motor or main PCB defective. Solution: 1. Ensure Fan motor properly fix & wiring routed at its location, if problem persist then opened Fan & reinstall again 2. If main PCB or Fan motor malfunctioning then replace with prior check.

Compressor dead or not work
