Research shows that children who regularly eat breakfast have better standardized test scores, better behavior, and are less hyperactive than children who skip breakfast. Provide a protein rich breakfast in the morning to help your child learn! Too many carbohydrates (like cereal, toast, or pastries) can make the brain groggy and make learning much harder! So, start your child’s day with a good breakfast that includes protein!
What should I eat for Breakfast?

Thank you to all of the FPS students for sending postcards our way! It is great to read all of the notes where students use grade level words of the week correctly in context. We look forward to reading many more Principal Postcards! Keep up the good work FPS!
On behalf of the Technology Committee, I would like to send a big thanks to Ms. Woodhead’s kindergarten class. For their 100th day celebration, each student in Ms. Woodhead’s class brought in 100 pennies, which they separated into groups of ten to practice counting by tens. The class decided that when they finished using the pennies, they would donate them to the FPS Technology Fund. I am very pleased and proud to report that Ms. Woodhead’s class donated $20 and included a letter signed by all the students that read, “We know you will put it to good use.” I am incredibly touched by such a wonderful gesture. Kudos to Ms. Woodhead’s class!
