sharing, transferring, and archiving
knowledge in the fields of accounting
and auditing, based on the 4 pillars of
the program. Below is the final logo.

This is Editorial
Planeta’s main catalog,
which integrates the
company’s most
important products.
Like in many other
projects for the company,
I participated in this one
from its conception,
design layout and text
writing until its final
approval. I also
supervised production of
the piece and wrote the
training guide for the
sales force to use it.
Planeta is a distributor of Encyclopaedia
Britannica in Latin America.
I designed this booklet because sales
agents needed a piece written in Spanish
to offer this English language collection to
an upscale market. The piece achieved its
purpose of reflecting the luxury, high quality
and long standing reputation of the product
depicted in its 16 pages.
Claves para la vida (Keys for Life) is a collection that was
originally sold by Planeta as 4 separate books.
The purpose of this brochure was to integrate them all
under one concept and sell them always as a set,
increasing both the sales income per customer, and the
agents’ commission in each successful visit to a new client.
Mi amigo especial (My
Special Friend) is a
beautiful Planeta product
for children that was in bad
need of a “facelift”.
When the DVD version
replaced the VHS one,
I proposed a complete
redesign of every element
involved, from the product
itself, to its packaging and
demonstration materials
for the sales force.
Each of Editorial Planeta’s
products needed to have a
quick fact sheet, a very
brief, but yet thorough
description of its contents,
highlighting the most
important features and how
these would satisfy
potential clients needs.
I had to study every
collection to summarize,
design and layout, in just
one page, its main
characteristics.
This is an example for the
Enciclopedia de México
CDROM.
The purpose of this
demonstration sheet
was to show how all of
Planeta’s children’s
products target specific
areas of a child’s
development, thus
helping the sales agents
to present a strong
argument on why the
client should buy several,
if not all, of them.
I did the research, wrote
the copy and created the
design concept for this
piece.
I created this brochure to
give prospective new sales
agents an overall view of
Editorial Planeta, its
products and the role they
play in education, as well as
the professional development
opportunities and potential
earnings the company offers
to people who decide to be
part of the Sales Team.
Using basic knowledge of Dreamweaver and Fireworks, this
e-mail pieces were designed for seasonal campaigns
directed at existing “subscribers” in the company’s
database, whom we denominated “Elite Planeta” members.
I was involved from the selection of the products to offer,
to the design of each piece, the training manuals for
telemarketers and measuring/reporting/analyzing results.

events during a multi-front campaign that certain Union undertook

Illustration used to represent how the opposing party in certain
trial had only partially presented the required elements to “build” a
credible case to win a ruling in his favor. Thus, the idea of only
one completed bridge but others barely sketched (non-existent)
over big “abysses” of missing information.
