TSS WILL PROUDLY PRESENT A PERFORMANCE OF HANDEL’S ‘ZADOK THE PRIEST’ THAT WILL FEATURE A CHOIR AND FULL ORCHESTRAWho can be part of this great performance?
We are looking for anyone associated with TSS both past and present who would like to be part of this very special musical event. We need:
• Vocalists both male and female, young and old(er)! If you want a chance to sing in a 200-piece choir, then this is your opportunity. You do not have to be a great singer- You just need to be willing to have fun and give it everything you have!
• String players- violins, violas, cellos, double basses- If you were part of the music string programme or can play any of these instruments then we need you!
• Bassoonist and oboists - very rare, but we know you are out there!

George Frederic Handel
Zadok the Priest’ was composed by George Frederic Handel for the coronation of King George II in 1727 and is Handel’s best-known Coronation Anthem. Zadok the Priest has been sung prior to the anointing of the British Sovereign at the coronation of every British Monarch since.
