MISSIONS SUNDAY 2014

Mission's Sunday happens every 5th SUNDAY of a particular month that has 5 Sundays in it.

This is usually every QUARTER of every Annual Calendar.

TODAY IS MISSIONS SUNDAY

THE MISSIONS DEPARTMENT has affected communities and transformed lives in the LORD

JESUS CHRIST through church site launches.

Our HLM MISSIONS DEPARTMENT is not a regular DEPARTMENT, it has a VISION, a FORCE attached with

it. IT IS A SUPERNATURAL FAITH MOVEMENT of reaching people for the LORD JESUS CHRIST in THE

POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT and with MAKING DISCIPLES are a PRIMARY INTENTION

(bawal ang lagaw lagaw lang :-))

ONE OF THE BEST THING IT HAS PRODUCED are VOLUNTEERS from Housewives to Business People

doing the ACTUAL WORK of a NEW TESTAMENT CHRISTIAN!

This is a miracle in itself! ALL OUT FOR WORLD Transformation ...

every Soul for the LORD!

“The spirit of Christ is the spirit of missions. The nearer we get to

Him, the more intensely missionary we become.”

Faith is built up through the regular intake of the Word of God.

Quiet moments with the LORD everyday is a source of power, productivity and a

well-pleasing life unto the Lord. These moments must be coupled with a submissive obedience and a

whole hearted devotion towards the call of God to believe.

article: “Godly RISK Takers”

Will we believe God for big things? If the answer is ‘yes,’ then we automatically

become godly ‘risk-takers’ -- men and women who trust God and live by faith and not by

sight. When we teach our people to take risks, we are teaching them to develop faith in God.

No Small DreamsOne way to teach this concept is to take people to Mark

10:27b (NIV): “… all things are possible with God.” Ask your leaders to circle the word

“all,” and to write the letters “NSD” next to that verse.

“NSD” means No Small Dreams. We serve a big God, and he says the size of our faith will determine the size of our

blessings in life: “According to your faith will it be done to you. ...” (Matthew 9:29, NIV)

For whatever reason, God chose faith to be the primary basis of relating to Him. After the fall, we can’t see God and walk with Him like Adam and Eve seemed to be able to do.

The way we relate to God, and everything we receive from Him, must be by faith now. So when He chose a man and a family and a nation through whom to reveal Himself, He began with someone who believed: Abraham.

What is God saying?

• Faith requires risk and getting out of our comfort zone.

• God keeps us in relationship with Him by rarely giving more than the next step. We can’t rely on principles or follow a plan. We have to LISTEN to Him.
