Project Overview
• Goal: – Implement Next Generation Work Order & Billing System
• Replace ITS ordering and billing systems with new systems • Ordering Portal: Process Management Group (PMG) • Oracle E-Business Suite: Enterprise Asset Management, Inventory
Management, Property Management, Grants, etc. – Improve and simplify the ordering experience
• Provide Web forms resulting in well-formed order – Process improvements
• Integrate with other ITS systems such as SIPdb, the Phone number assignment system
• Leverage data from existing systems (Oracle Property Manager)

• What we’ve done: – Phase 1: Completed July 9
• Two key clients using new ordering portal to order single-line VoIP phone service
• What we’re working on: – Phase 2 Rollout
• Release services in groups • Begin with three services • Provide reporting via OBIEE
• When is all this happening? – Phase 2 Rollout: Begins December 3, 2012

What does Release Approach Mean for You? • Transition period: both systems will be running for a few months • Splash page or links to direct traffic to correct order form • Billing will also transition
- Billing cycle will change from the 24th of the month to last day of the month - Postings from both systems in Expenditure Statement
• Reporting - OBIEE detailed reporting will be available for transitioned services - OrderIT detailed reporting for services not yet moved
