On Sunday, April 14, 2019, EMSOPstudent pharmacists worked togetherat Ciclovia to educate communitymembers about diabetes,hypertension, vaccinations, opioidabuse, and OTC medication safety.With the support of bilingual studentpharmacists and preceptors, studentsprovided culturally comprehensivecounseling to Spanish-speakingpatients at EMSOP's largestcollaboration with the New Brunswickcommunity. Altogether, the studentpharmacists screened 86 patients fordiabetes and hypertension.

EMSOP student organizationscollaborate to provide free diabetesand blood pressure screenings as wellas educational activities for the NewBrunswick community.
