Supported Languages are English, Dutch, French, French Canadian, German, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish.

LANGUAGE SUPPORT

Starting with CribMaster version 9.6.40921.2 various languages may be displayed on the ATR screen.

Language Support is a strong enhancement in facilities where multiple languages are spoken.

What is CribMaster Language Support?

LANGUAGE SUPPORT

ATR Buttons and Icons are displayed based on a “Default Language” setting.

“Default Language” is set per employee.

A translated “Item Description” is displayed (if configured in ATR) based on the “Default Language”.

CribMaster Language Support is configured in two ways.

This setting will change the buttons and icons displayed on the ATR display to the specified language.

Notice buttons and icons now display in the Default Language defined for the employee logged in.

Within the CribMaster ATR Default Options several language parameters can be set.

DefaultLanguage – If a “Default Language is not specified at the Employee Properties, a selection in this field will cause ATR to change buttons and icons to the defined language. However; this is a global setting, not per employee.

AltLang1 / AltLang4 – These parameter(s) must be set to match any languages set at the Employee Properties. There is a limit of four different languages per machine (or ATR).

Note – These settings prepare the ATR to display one column as Item Description using the identified language. (Next Slide)

In order for this column to be effective the SQL Server database must have these translations added in order to display the correct language translation. These translations are set up in the CribMaster Client as a set of CribMaster “Custom Fields”.

CONSIDERATIONS

Various language Item Descriptions must be added/inputted into the CribMaster Client. Conversion is not automatic.

Custom Fields must be setup according to the “Setting up Multi-Language Support for CribMaster and ATR.pdf document.

Button and Icon translation is automatic if configured properly.

It is a good practice to import the “Default Language” per employee especially if the employees within the site speak multiple languages.
