Reasons Faculty Cannot Submit Grade Rosters• You are not listed as the instructor for the class. Note

CUNYfirst defaults the class instructor to “STAFF”. Please contact your department.

• New faculty may not have their personal information updated in CUNYfirst. Please contact the Human Resources department.

• There is no Faculty Center screen available in CUNYfirst. Please contact the IT department.

• If you are unable to resolve the problem in a timely fashion please email the Office of the Registrar at Registrar.Office@lehman.cuny.edu.

• Login to CUNYfirst. Click on HR/Campus Solutions Self Service Faculty Center My Schedule

• If the wrong term shows or if you teach at more than one CUNY institution you should click the change term button.

To view the grade roster click the grade roster icon to the left of the class. Note: Grade rosters open up on the first day of final exams. You will not be able to view your grade roster prior to this date.

After clicking the grade roster icon your grade roster will appear. Note: In order to enter grades, the approval status must be” Save but Not Submit”.

Entering Student Grades

You can manually enter grades by clicking on the roster grade drop down box by each student name and then clicking on the grade.

Entering Grades to Multiple Students

After Entering Grades• After you have entered grades for all the students, click the save button. • Then change the approval status to “ Submit Grades to Registrar”.• Once you have saved the status as “ Submit to Registrar,” a Post button will

appear at the bottom right side of the page. (New functionality)

Confirmation of Grade Submission• New functionality - After clicking the post button you will get a confirmation

that your grades were successfully submitted. Your Faculty center will now have the Posted Grade Roster icon.

Consequences of Submitting Grade Rosters Late

• Delays the graduation process for students. May impact their employment.

• Delays the F repeat process. This may allow students to be dismissed incorrectly.

• Delay the PERC process. This may allow students to remain enrolled in courses even though they may have failed the prerequisite.

• Presidential Scholars and Dean’s List will be delayed.• Students requesting transcripts will not have their final

grades and may not have their college honors posted on the transcript.
