The production of the Condeep platforms started in Jåttåvågen in 1973 and is for many the epitome of oil operations in the North Sea.
Today, The Leaning Tower still stands as a symbol of an era. A 60 metre high reminder of innovation and dedication. It was built to test techniques within concrete laying, and proved that it would be possible to make the grand Condeep Troll. With a height of 472 metres, Troll was one of the tallest structures in the world when it was
built in 1995. It is still the biggest man made construction that has been moved on the face of the earth.
This was the last Condeep built in Jåttåvågen. In 1998, the Stavanger municipality decided that the area should become a new urban district, with houses, industry and services, starting a new story for Jåttåvågen and Hinna Park.
For decades, new thoughts and amitious plans have filled the air in Hinna Park. With new
businesses present, the story continues.

Project under development. It is named after the gigantic Norwegian gas fi eld, but its characteristic long and narrow shape also looks somewhat like a snake in its green surroundings. Building starts by contract or estimated 2013/2014.

Kanalpiren is situated in the very heart of Hinna Park, between the canal, the residential area, the new park and the training ground – a perfect location for getting all the benefits from the area’s rich qualities.
Completed in 2009, the building is already well-known as a successful office space, with extensive use of glass, canteen on ground level and nice outdoor settings.
The solution in the available areas includes a combination of both open-plan, individuals offices, meeting rooms and more informal collaboration zones. Common functions such as meeting rooms and print rooms are used as functional separators between transport and work zones.
